Costing and Accounting Practices: - We follow Standard costing system in IOT as a practice.
• Preparation of Company¡¦s Annual Budget and monitoring the monthly actuals with Budgeted figures
• Preparation of ¡¥Latest Best Estimate¡¦ and comparing the same with the Annual Budget and the actuals ¡V analyzing the reasons.
• Preparation of Monthly Cash Flow Statement for Management review.
• Consolidating the Profit and Loss account on a monthly basis as per the Standard Costing System and adding back the monthly variances reported to arrive at the Final Actual Net Margin.
• Analyzing the Usage Variances on a monthly basis. Standard Price(Standard usage for actual production-Actual usage)
• Preparation of Cost sheets according to the Business Requirements. (we¡¦ll get the new Business Requirements from our Head Quarters ¡V Paris
• Making changes in the cost structure of the cost sheets according to the customer requirements.
• Close co-ordination with Production and Commercial Teams to prepare cost sheets and to determine the Profitability. (Production team would give the details of Fish and other fills per each can while Commercial team would provide us the packaging information)
• Managing ¡¥PPV Deferrals¡¦ on a monthly basis in Oil and Packaging. Since we follow the standard costing system in practice, every month it is the usual practice we follow to defer the price difference between standards and actual in the Purchased Qty and in Monthly closing stock.
Actual Quantity Purchased (Standard Price ¡V Actual Price).
• Analyzing the new projects and preparing the project feasibility study in terms of Tuna orders and comparing the Costs arrived with the existing scenario of world Tuna markets.
