Petroleum Engineer - Production Technologist

Optimizing well Performance in an optimum, safe and highest professional manner.

Currently I am the Production Technologist for a more than 80 oil wells, some are Water Injection wells, 22 different AL wells, in 5 main fields for the last 8 years where I have developed my experience in all aspects of the business of petroleum engineering work from naturally flowing to A/L producers and water injection wells. I have a sound understanding of all subsurface disciplines and surface facilities of well engineering and production operations.
In addition to my duty as a PT, I am currently the Artificial lift Focal point of (BP, ESP,JP,Gas lift)which include the design, optimization, calibration and monitoring.
My experience ranges from contributing to Field Development Plans, concept selection, decision analysis, through performing field reviews to propose and supervising optimization proposals. Included:
Well performance modeling, testing, monitoring and optimizing (Nodal analysis).
Logging Gathering/updating analyzing of field database to optimize well performance.
Safeguarding well productivity through preparing/ evaluating: perforation, stimulation jobs.
Maintain and Q/C check for different numerous databases related to: production, Water injection, Pressure surveys and plots, Well data sheets, well sketches, and generating adequate spreadsheets, A/L parameters, as well reports and plots.
Support well services activities and other related disciplines by maintaining database, recommendations, generating reports. etc
Working closely to RE’s with a good knowledge of petroleum engineering skills such as material balance modeling, well test analysis,
Very good experience in modelling packages software such: Pipesim, WePS, Subpump, WellCat, ScaleChem, Rodstar, AutographPC, PROSPER, ….

I have excellent communication skills, working effectively as a team leader/player in multicultural environment, Cooperated with other disciplines to achieve targets, and have worked in a mentoring role with less experienced engineers

I am graduated from faculty of sciences- Damascus University (since 1994).
