• Physico-chemical properties, commodity characteristics and rheological parameters of oils and oil products.
• Extraction and identification of heteroatomic components of oils using aprotonic acids in inaqueous media.
• Investigation of acid-base interaction in the systems formed by aprotonic acids with organic ligands.
• Chemistry of coordination compounds of non-transition elements in inaqueous media.
• Structure of coordination compounds by IR-, Mossbauer and X-ray spectroscopy. Interpretation of spectra.
• Synthesis of compounds with given properties.
• Investigation of the nature of substitution of organic ligands in molecular crystal lattices.
• Cryometry of multicomponent systems in inaqueous media.
INVENTIONS AND DISCOVERIES
• The technology of extraction and obtaining high-clean osmium-187 and rhenium from industrial products of copper production.
• The discovery of industrially significant quantities of iodine and bromine in Zhezkazgan copper-ore basin (which indirectly indicates the existence of hydrocarbon deposits in the region).
• The technology of obtaining high-clean iodine from industrial products of copper production.
