JOB TITLE:- SHIFT SUPERVISOR UNIT-200.
Job Responsibilities:-
• Operate Unit 100/200 in order to produce high quality Titanium Tetrachloride and consistently maintain its sufficiency of supply for Unit 300 in accordance with budget requirements.
• Execute immediate measures in preventing environmental releases, safety hazard, and production loss.
• Maintain awareness on process test results and plant status that may indicate symptoms of process upsets.
• Direct operational functions and planning for activities required in the shift.
• Raise incident report for any incident that occurred within his shift and ensure prevention.
• Identify and report equipment that shows signs of deterioration and recommend maintenance PM’s depending on the nature of priority.
• Liaise with Maintenance Supervisor for priority jobs to meet the unit output requirement in terms of mechanical, electrical, fabrication and instrument support.
• Issue work permits, impose safety requirement, and ensure compliance.
• Provide motivation, encouragement and support necessary to maintain high level of morale among immediate operating staff.
• Prepare shift end report for better information hand-over to the next relieving shift supervisor.
• Identify important activities that require immediate completion, and to mention other outstanding jobs for follow-up to his reliever.
• The position reports to the Unit 100/200 Superintendent.
