Professional Experience
• Preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies related to Natural Gas, LPG and CNG.
• Determination of well head gas prices and gas retail prices for different classes of consumers for different gas producing fields.
• Evaluation/approval of Natural Gas Sales and Purchase agreements between gas producers and marketers/consumers.
• Execution of Natural Gas pricing agreements between the Government of Pakistan and gas producers.
• Regulation of the LPG sector of Pakistan which includes:
Issuance of licenses to the company for production, storage, marketing and installation of LPG dispensing stations.
Prescribing safety standards for installation of LPG production, storage, filling and refueling plants.
Pre-qualification of authorized manufacturers of LPG extraction, storage, filling plants, bowzers, cylinders and cylinder valves.
Pre-qualification of third party inspectors for pre-commissioning and periodic inspection of the LPG installations.
Analysis of demand and supply situation of LPG in the country and measures to ensure proper balance therein.
Coordination with Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources, CIDA, World Bank, Provincial Governments, Foreign Missions, Planning Commission and other agencies.
Operation and Maintenance of LPG database about productions, supply, sale, import and infrastructure.
