Mechanical Supervisor

Provide support for Maintainance of all rotating equipment in the oil and gas industry

Responsible for the weekly & daily planning of equipment servicing, inspections, repairs, overhauls and installations with an Indian/Philippino Mechanical maintenance crew of 24, which includes reviewing all work requests & PPMs, Control and approve of materials, labour, work scheduling and costs Reporting to Senior maintenance Forman for updates on rotating equipment status, submit daily reports and 28 day plans for equipment Maintenance strategy into the platform Asset management system Maximo.
Responsibilities also include development of staff and a Competency program which highlights experience and improvements by providing technical training and troubleshooting exercises on all platform rotating equipment currently Dresser/Rolls RB211 GP for gas reinjection, Cooper/Rolls Avon 1535 and 200 series for oil delivery, Solar Centaur T-4002-1 & Saturn MD1100 turbines for Power generation, gas lift and oil transfer to Tankers, G.E frame 3 dual shaft gas turbines for water injection incorporating multistage Weir pumps and Nash Vacuum pumps for waterflood Vacuum Tower conditions.
Major role in HSE which encourages staff to participate in the company Safety on Board program Horizon Zero and Stop for safety and also provide instruction on Risk assessment and Job safety analysis to a high degree of accuracy and quality.

last ten years have been involved in Supervising and coordinating of maintenance programs for the PPM,Servicing, upgrading and overhauling of all rotating equipment relevant to the oil & gas industry, the planning and costing was a major part of the program and was successfully carried out. major involvement and implementation of STOP and Horizon Zero Safety programs acquiring certificates of recognition several times.
