• Successfully completed Lead Auditor course for ISO-9001: 2000, OHSAS-18001 and ISO-14001: 2004.

• Participated in Technical Committee Meeting (TCM) by Gujarat Pollution Control Board (State Pollution Control Board) for the proposed expansion project at Aditya Birla Group.

• Awarded as Champion of Champions for the Excellence in Manufacturing of Aditya Birla Group in the field of Safety, Hygiene and Pollution Control in 2000. Involved with preparation of documents, presentation and audit.

Project/Job Assignment/Achievement:

(i) Environment:

• Erection & Commissioning of Effluent Treatment Plant having capacity of 1000 m3/hr (24000m3 per day) with Primary Treatment, Clarifiers, Secondary treatment Belt Press (Sludge Dewatering Equipment). Development and implementation of all SOP, during project operation/expansion.

• Supervising operations of Effluent Treatment Plant with avg. flow capacity of 8000 to 9000 m3/day. As a team member, contributed actively in implementing in smooth stabilization of ETP.

• Imparting training to shift chemists and operators for ETP operations and creating awareness regarding environment.


• Implementation of all the applicable norms and regulations as per Gujarat (State) Pollution Control Board in the unit. This has resulted in substantial savings in water consumption, reduction in solid waste generation, and control stack emissions efficiently. This had resulted in clean working environment the unit.

• Made active contributions towards inter unit study, plant inspections, implementing best practices in the field of environment and Monthly Information System (MIS), for generating environmental reports.


• Involved with IS0-9001: 2000, ISO-14001: 1996, OHSAS-18001 certification as well as surveillance audit work in the units. Carried out all pre-audit preparations successfully for final audit clearance by BVQI.
