I work since April 2002 until present with M.I Company (specialized in petroleum drilling fluids) as a drilling solids control engineer.
Mission (Tasks):
Supervise the proceedings of mud treatment and the good functioning of solids control equipments.
Job Description:
We have to control the drilling mud properties like: density, viscosity, electrical stability, acidity …..….after doing some checks (- PH metric - distillation…..) by using some proceedings: HTHP - filtrat
-1 Mechanical treatment: In this operation we use:
- Centrifuges (high and law speed).
- Mud cleaner multicyclone (desander - desalter).
- Shakers with a various screens appropriate to each drilling section.
- Pumps (centrifugal pumps – pumps of ARCHIMED – diaphragm pumps)
-2 Chemical treatments: by using some chemical products like bentonite, barite, V.G69, lime…….
And finally we have to do if necessary the maintenance of all the equipments before announced.

- To achieve applied research, studies and analyses in industrial environment.
- Course of one–trax and extended hours safety.
- Important knowledges of chemicals mud properties (Versadril, relaxed & conventional / freshwater bentonite spud mud), and drilling operations.
