Transmission Planning Team Leader since 05/06/2005 with below experiences & duties:

• Design and optimize the Microwave & Optical TRM Backbone based on the radio, Core network and IT plans and determine the requirements of the Transmission equipments on a scheduled basis.
• Select and submit new GSM sites and Manage to integrate the access nominal plan to backbone transmission plan to provide additional capacity and save leased lines.
• Frequency plan and interference analysis of the MW links short & long haul conforming to the ITU-T and ITU-R recommendations using PathLoss &TEMS Link Planner software’s tools.
• Topology planning using paper Topographic maps and digital maps for the MW links paths and do the LOS survey to confirm these paths profiles on the ground using: Altimeter, GPS, Theodolite ...etc
• Prepare a report of the needed civil works regarding towers heights, masts, shelters, generators…etc
• Transmission network Optimization from capacity and performance point of view.
• Do the actual plans for fiber optic network (Digital MUXs) like OMS multiplexer for Marconi-Ericson to provide the high capacity and prepare the needed plans for the execution.
• Lead a small team consists of (three Engineers & three Technicians) to lead them doing there missions in the best way.
• Commissioning Marconi optical MUXs (OMS1664, 1654, SMA1/4 UC, …)
• Lead the O&M Team in the executing of the upgrade plan for fiber optical ring from STM-16 to STM-64.


Duties and responsibilities at my current job:

• MW link design.
• Routing Assignments.
• Prepare work order (Implementation Requirement).
• Site survey and site validation.
• Doing the new plan for new BSCs and MSCs.
• Prepare the actual Plan for Fiber Optic Rings using different kind of MUXs (Like OMS1664, OMS1654, MS1/4, SMA1/4UC…)
• Good Command with the PNMT SW for NEC Radios management
• Prepare the needed documentations & Requests from Syrian Telecom Establishment (STE).
• Prepare the Links Budget for the weekly rollout.
• Manage & Monitoring the installed links through PNMS for NEC network.
• Meeting new employees & prepare – Introduce presentations for technical issues.
