I am looking for new challenges in an EHS role outside of the UK, on land or offshore.

• September 1989 – September 1991: Trainee Process Operator, training in chemical process plant operations. ICI (petrochemical industry)

• September 1991 – September 1993: Process Operator, process plant operations on site & control room operations, Wilton Ethylene Control. ICI (petrochemical industry)

• September 1993 – October 1996: Day Technician, working to support mechanical fitters, permit to work acceptor. ICI (petrochemical industry)

• October 1996 – April 2000: Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Coordinator. ICI (petrochemical industry)

• April 2000 – Present: Safety, Health and Environment Officer, duties include but are not limited to; risk assessments (COSHH, DSE, Manual Handling, Noise etc), job safety analysis, advice to all levels in the organisation on SHE matters, SHE training coordination and validation, auditing, advice and assistance in the design and implementation of EHS programmes, preparation of SHE procedures and instructions, safety tours and compliance auditing, management of recording and analysis systems for accidents, incidents and audit information using computer-based systems, work with overhaul / pipelines project teams in development of SSOW / SHE systems for events and SHE support through out events, preparation of communications/tool box talks, involvement in emergency exercises and attendance at Major Emergency Control Centre for major emergency exercises, preparation of reports to management team on compliance/statistics, occupational and environmental noise monitoring, provide cover on Duty SHE Manager rota. ICI (petrochemical industry), business sold to Huntsman Petrochemicals (UK) Ltd in 2002, and then sold in 2006 to SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Cooperation).
