Senior rotating equipment / Mechanical Engineer

I m seek for new challenges in oil and gas which effectively utilizes my current experiences. I want to join a progressive organization that offers opportunities for advancement.

Oct. 2003 − present: Senior Rotating equipment engineer Manage and administer maintenance/overhaul programs for the rotating equipment in J-10 and S-Ali gas lift offshore platforms including gas turbines, gas compressors, pumps in addition to the mechanical work for platform integrity, gas lift process vessels& scrubbers& piping and valves to ensure maximum equipment availability& productivity and minimize downtime in a safe, healthy, efficient and cost effective manner.
Oct. 2000 − 2003: Rotating equipment engineer Execute, supervise, and coordinate the activities related to rotating equipment and mechanical activities at J-10 and S−Aly offshore platforms.
October 1997 − August 2000: Offshore Operation and maintenance of gas turbine shift engineer Operation of all the platform rotating and static equipment efficiently and safely.
October 1996 − October 1997: Project engineer at Petroleum and Projects Service Co. Engineering design for the project,supervised construction work,Planning for project phases, Commissioning and start up for gas plant project.
October 1993 − June 1996: Standby Officer managed operation and maintenance for radar stations and related power generation diesel engines at Egyptian Army, Egypt.
Oct 2005 − Oct 2007: Mechanical Engineer (Supervisor) (Part time contractor) United Gas Derivatives Execute, supervise, and coordinate the activities related to rotating equipment and mechanical activities at Elgamil plant and Damieta exportation terminal to ensure maximum equipment availability& productivity and minimize downtime in a safe, healthy, efficient and cost effective manner.

I m graduated in May 1993 from Suez Canal university faculty of engineering & technology at Port Said, Egypt and awarded B. Sc degree in power mechanics engineering with general appreciation good and project appreciation excellent.

• Experience with most equipments in a Petrochemical/Oil/Gas plant like Centrifugal & reciprocating compressors, gas turbines, most types of pumps, gear boxes, turbo-expander, diesel engines, fin fan coolers, blowers, heat exchangers, etc.
• Experience in, Maintenance Management and Reliability Engineering. Field of specialization is Rotating Reliability Maintenance, Condition Monitoring, Reliability Analysis and root cause failure analysis.
• Setting up and development of rotating equipment maintenance program.
• Familiar with rotating equipment standard cods.
• Familiar with equipment selection, specification, operating and maintenance strategies.
• High competency in the use of personal computers
• Supporting the preventive, corrective, troubleshooting, shutdown and major and minor maintenance activities, on various types of mechanical static and rotating plant equipment.
• Rotating equipment reliability & availability and maintainability philosophy.
• Familiar with most of modern oil and gas electrical, instrumentation, static and mechanical equipment including modern devices like heart communication& PLC and DCS.
• Experienced with the inspection of gas turbine blades, vanes and combustion chamber parts with using of Iplex videoscobe.
