HSE/Safety Officer

Apply the knowledge gained in my NEBOSH International Certificate in any work discipline.

I am conversant with many aspects of safety including ‘working behaviours’ and ways to eliminate/reduce unsafe practices, simply by using my own leadership, coaching and relationship skills with others, all nationalities included.. I am familiar with safety practices and policies relating to safety JSA'S, Risk Analysis etc.

I have experience of being a supervisor/ manager for 24 years in many work disciplines. I am an experienced, loyal and highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal, training and management skills. I am approachable, articulate and computer literate. I have the ability to follow all policies and procedures and coach others to do likewise, I consider myself to have a natural ability to coach and achieve the best results from others in the workplace.
Past 4 years I have been working in Thailand as a Diving Instructor with responsibility for health and safety in a major scuba diving organisation and onboard numerous vessels.

Previously I worked for 25 years as a Police Detective Sergeant working throughout the United Kingdom and abroad. This experience has given me excellent skills for risk and hazard assessment, accident and incident investigation. I prepared risk assessments and contingency plans for numerous hazardous Police operations. I am experienced in the preparation of complex case reports and making presentations in any field
