Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited is an integrated Gas Company, involved in the business of Transmission, Compression, Distribution and Purification of Natural Gas. It has a high pressure Transmission network of 6000 km and a consumer base of about 2.3 Million. It is also evolved in EPCM activities for other companies.
Job Responsibilities
• Active member of design and procurement team
• Installation and configuration of PLCs and Electronic Flow Measurement Equipment for integration with SCADA System
• Preparation of communication feasibility using analysis of Radio paths
• Design, implementation ,testing and commissioning of various SCADA Host applications
• Configuration, programming, system administration of Telvent OASyS 6.0 SCADA System (Unix Based SCADA system)
• System integration, development of displays and database configuration for new RTUs and field instruments
• Responsible for reliable operation & maintenance of SCADA System and on call technical support to the operations department
• Interdepartmental coordination with various sections of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited for continuous system improvements
• Coordination with various companies for Design & implementation of new SCADA System

Pak Arab Refinery Limited (March 2004 to July 2005)
SCADA Engineer III
Parco is fully integrated energy company, a joint venture between Pakistan and Abu Dhabi. It owns its two pipeline networks of 1300Km and 817Km and a refinery of 100,000 barrels per day.
Job Responsibilities
• Commissioning and pre-commissioning activities for Telvent DNA SCADA system (Window NT/2000 based) involving more then 100 of RTUs and PLCs
• Commissioning and pre-commissioning activities for Yokogawa Centum CS DCS and its upward integration with SCADA system
• Instrument configuration and programming of SCADA, RTUs, PLCs and DCS
• Configuration, programming, system administration of Telvent DNA SCADA System and Yokogawa Centum CS DCS.
• Maintenance and Spare management using Maximo 4i
• Preparation of specifications for SCADA and DCS equipment and their spares and performing their technical vetting and technical inspection
