I started my career as Junior Engineer in Fuel Research Centre. PCSIR Karachi Laboratory which deals with Chemical Analysis of different Fuels Particularly Coal & Oil, Guide/ advise the different industries on industrial Chemical Process, under-take the Industrial Projects for their improvement. FRS was engaged in utilization of COAL reservoirs which are available in Pakistan in abundant quantity. Further the centre was also engaged in qualitative and quantitative analysis of Crude Oil and baggase as fuel. I have published 10 research papers on the subject in international and nation journals. I have designed Mega Projects on different Power/Gas Generation projects like Coal Gasification, Fluidized Bed coal Gasification, and Differential Thermal Analyzer etc. which have been completed. Major responsibilities included analysis of feasibility study reports, identification of new potential power sources in the country, monitoring and invention of new process for coal utilization etc. I was tasked to utilize the thermal analyzer (DTA, TGA, DTS) for qualitative & quantitative determination of coal as fuel including determination of burning point and combustion stability.
