Calibration of process control instruments, Loop checking and pre-commissioning of Page/party system, Process field instruments covering Electronic transmitters, Gas detectors (LEL/H2S), Vibration sensors, Control Valves, Control panels, PLC for ESD system, Distributed Control system (DCS), Vibration Monitoring system (VMS), On line gas Chromatograph analyzers, H2S analyzers etc. Carried out all the Instrumentation works in accordance with IFC Drawings, Construction schedules, Industry code practices i.e. ISA, API RP550, IEEE, NEC/NFPA 70.

Responsible to do the different studies required for the capital expenditure projects in QAPCO, including preparation of feasibility study, basic& detailed engineering and construction scheme.

List of the projects achieved:

1. Transfer of the sea water pumps to the DCS/PLC (HIMA PLC and TDC3000 DCS) year 2000.
2. Transfer of the Poly ethylene line 1 to DCS/PLC (HIMA PLC and TDC3000 DCS using HPM/TPS) year 2003, this project is completely engineered and implemented by QAPCO staff.
3. Implementing the PI (Plant Information) system using APP nodes in the different LCN of QAPCO, year 2004.
4. Transfer of Unit 22 (Loading) in Ethylene plant from relay logic to PLC (HIMA) and DCS system (TDC3000), completed in year 2005.
5. Transfer of Boilers Control to DCS/PLC using TDC3000 and BMS, completed in year 2006.
6. Replacing of the Logic manager 620 in HOMO (Poly-Ethylene plants) to FSC(Fail Safe Controller) of Honeywell (1200 hardwired I/O), completed in GSD of 2007(March 2007).
