Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for EMERGENCY CARE Response to patients suffering from trauma/accident/medical illness.
• Ensure staff that is unwell and sustained injuries is attended immediately.
• Attend to staff that needs medical attention and dispense medication.
• Responsible for referral and arrangement of patient/employees health insurance to the affiliated hospital.
• Providing Vaccination programs to employees
• Ensures smooth running of the Medical Clinic by providing holistic care
• Ensure the medical clinic is providing appropriate and effective treatment to all employees
• Checking of Water for Chemical, Bacteriological Test, PH and Chlorine quarterly and daily.
• Responsible for Inventories of medications, consumables and equipments monthly.
• Responsible for the checking / monitoring of the health and hygiene of both the company premises and of employees.
• Liaise with Human Resource pertaining to staff issues and able to tackle issues by carrying out appropriate investigation to resolve any complicated cases.
• Manage staff that have psychological issues and conduct counseling and provide moral support to ensure they are stress free at work place.
• Handles all medical claims and investigate all claims thoroughly before acknowledge approval.
• Conduct and provide efficient training to staff on Health and Safety issues.
• Work closely with Head of Department.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all employees' medical records and update staff file with details of MC's and appointment's when there are seen outside plant clinic.
• Responsible for safe guarding of the medical information in accordance of Company policy. To maintain a proper records of:
A. the number of employees who sought treatment at the medical clinic.
B. the number of medical leave given on a daily basis.
C. the number of employees on restricted duties.
D. the number of industrial accidents.
