Working efficiently with Halliburton Drilling Services as Data Engineer. Presently providing services to Occidental of Oman in Mukhizna field, south of Oman.
Job Responsibilities are:
• Rock sample Description which includes determining the rock types of the drilled formation by using the cuttings, their percentages, minerals available, describing the rock properties e.g hardness, colour, shape and others.
• Installing and running the unit, all sensors, cables, pcs, softwares and the gas system before the spud of the new well.
• Monitring drilling mud losses and gains.
• Preparation of Mud Logs, which are plots include all drilling parameters which have been moniterd associated with the geological colums of the drilled area.
• Installing, calibrating and monitring the gas system which is used to detect gases which come on the surface from the drilled formations.
• Detecting harmfull well-known gas H2S which may comes to surface with high percentage causing dangerous status to the working personnel in the rig site.
• Informing client representative and safety man if H2S is detected by the H2S sensor installed.
• Providing all drilling data and monitring all drilling parameters (depth, pressure, torque, gases percentages, etc…) to the client.
• Making Daily Progress and Routine Reports to the wellsite geologist, office and to the client.
• Monitoring closely Drilling, Mud and Gas Parameters.
• Installation and Dismantling of the Unit.

2000-2001 Higher Secondary School Certification from Al-Imam Khanbash Secondery school .

2001- 2006 Bachelor degree from Sultan Qaboos Univirsity (SQU) in Geophysics with "GOOD" classification.
