- Actively participated in all HSSE initiatives.
- Conduct quarterly HSSE walkabouts and Safety audits.
- Operations day support staff in executing and coordinating complex turn around with Operational shift teams and maintenance crew within schedule at optimum costs and no HSSE incident. Logistic focal pt for turn around requirements.
- Assists in the development and execution of the Start Up and Shut Down plans.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of Operational procedures and standards as well as operational improvements and increase plant availability and capacity to reduce operating costs and improve revenue.
- Supervise all shift activities in the plant to ensure safe plant conditions at all times and reports and records all deviation from targets and norms.
- Assists Shift Superintendent in ensuring that systems are in place and exercises carried out for effective emergency response.
- Assist in the establishment of the training and appraisal programmed and participate in the appraisal of Shift Operators.
- Assists with supervision to ensure that the facilities are operated within the design envelope at all times and comply and implemented within Permit to Work system for the nominated plant areas.
- Assist in “on the job training “, coaching and mentoring of all Operators on shift.
- Able to demonstrate and maintain high standards and discipline, under all circumstances.
- Have sensitivity, awareness and feeling for cross cultural
differences and possess high standard of team work
amongst colleagues.
Eductation
Education: Cambridge School Certificate Grade 3 in 1968 with credits
Passes in Mathematics, Additional Maths, Physics,
Chemistry, English and passes in Arts, Malay Language
Biology and Literature.
NTC 3 (National Trade Certificate) in Process Control.
Advanced Certificate in Industrial Relation from Spore
International Labour Organization.
Languages: English: Written/Spoken – Both Fluent
Malay: Written/Spoken – Both Fluent
Arabic: Spoken – Basic
Chinese: Spoken – Basic
Certification
Understanding knowledge of Operating Control Panel with
Yokogawa Centum CS3000.

Additional Information’s: - Had short stint working in BLNG Plant (Brunei) for a
year in 1988 in LNG Processing.
- In 2003 was attached to Shell Energy Team where we
Look into and work in Shell initiative and drive to save
energy, improve efficiency and better optimization
efforts in the Operation Teams.

abilities to communicate and liaise with other areas. Able
