Professional Experience
Responsible for efficiently screening, testing, interviewing and processing for Medical Staff(Physicians) appointments for Western Region Hospitals and PHC.
Because of inherent turnover of staff, the objective is to replace lost employees as quickly and effectively as possible with the best qualified candidates. Average time to fill vacancies has been benchmarked as soon as possible from receipt of recruitment request form approval of candidate by the CRS.
Analyze the information provided on a prospective employee's application form or CV, conduct a face to face interview or telephone interview as necessary. Determine the suitability of the candidate for employment. In cases where a candidates is judged as unqualified, tactfully decline the applicant. Perform reference checks as required, verifying of qualifications and licenses where required.
1. Review all Physicians credential ensuring candidates meets the PQR and are potential fir HAAD facilities.
2. Conducts interview locally and select suitable candidate by careful review of credentials and experience. Coordinate interviews with concerned sections and informs candidate of salaries, benefits and conditions of employment, providing relevant information where required.
3. Liaise with recruitment agencies in order to expedite the sourcing and processing of candidates.
4. Liaise with departments to review their open positions on a regular basis, responding as proactively as possible to their staffing requirements, by frequent monitoring of the data-base.
5. Meets on a regular basis with Head of Department by way of reviewing recruitment activities and identifying any future actions that may be required.
6. Ensure and adhere the Zero Base Budget prior to recruitment for any staffs.
7. Works is carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards and well defined policies with produced work subject to review and general supervision.
