Job Profile: To provide CAN Middle East with the first point of contact for staff working on its designated projects and keep the clients fully informed as to each of their project’s current status. My responsibility is to manage and supervise projects assigned with full responsibility for ensuring safe, smooth and seamless operations together with ensuring that all jobs remain within the planned budget. I am responsible for preparing job packages to ensure that all necessary equipment, personnel, travel plans and accommodation are in place in a timely
manner. I am also required to carry out a risk assessment on all projects prior to commencement to ensure the minimum risk for personnel and equipment. I am fully accountable for execution of projects and report to the General Manager.
Responsibilities in the field of Contract Management in the current job:
• Evaluating draft contracts with clients prior to finalization of the main contract
• Examination of technical and commercial terms and conditions specified in contracts signed with clients
• Responsible for ensuring penalty clauses specified in contracts are reasonable and not loaded in favour of clients
• Responsible for contractual risk assessments and raising tender queries
• Coordination of all project required bonds, guarantees and insurance requirements
• Estimation of future expenses that would be incurred in execution of contracts
• Responsible for fully understanding the scope of work specified in the contract document
• Communication with our other group offices to implement effective contract execution strategies
