Maritime Operations Clerk – May 2007 to Present
• Work Unsupervised in a 12hr shift routine; Carry out tasks delegated by Commanding Officers; Draft, organise and update daily naval operational information; coodinate and account for ships movements; Maintain an upto date list of all naval contact numbers; utilise a number of different systems and databases; Monitor voice satellite circuit with ships at sea; Answer phone calls and provide information.
• Utilised personal initiative to update and correct operating procedures and other out of date reference material.

HMAS Manoora, Amphibious landing and Helocopter Ship - Jan 2004 to Jan 2007
• Conduct Voice operations between ships; Report ships movements to command, Record voice and data transmissions; Monitor GMDSS and emergency radio circuits and channels; Set and monitor HF, UHF, VHF and satellite data and voice circuits; Create and administrate user accounts on the LAN; Conduct routine server backups and maintenance of computer hardware; Visual signaling duties including Flags and Morse code by Light.
• Involved in routine fire, flood and toxic hazard exercises with experience in a number of emergency incidents.
