Factory In charge of M/S Technical Engineering Services LLC, Muscat, Oman; Manufacturers of Light Fittings.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Unit Head - Having overall responsibility for achieving monthly sales/profitability targets.
2. Heading all business functions viz raw materials planning, purchasing, production planning, production, logistics, quality assurance, systems implementation, tool room, inventory management etc.
3. Development of new products and approvals thereof from government agencies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & Achievements:
„« Improving Product Quality and establishing quality system:
- Making of quality plan for incoming, in-process and finished goods items.-
„Ï Achievement : Our Product quality has been approved by prestigious projects like Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO) etc. where we were not having entry before.
„« Controlling Rejections:
- Recording all rejection, deciding disposition, corrective action and preventive action.
- Making monthly rejection summery and doing statistical data control by making bar charts for special process like powder coating.
„Ï Achievement: Reduce in rejection rate. For Powder coating alone rejection is reduced from 20% to 3%.
„« Improving Process:
- Improved pretreatment process by regular titration tests and by maintaining all process parameter. Designing and making sludge separation tank for our sludge iron phosphate tank.
- Upgraded powder coating plant by improving the suction system of over sprayed powder and procuring new Gema (Swiss Make) powder controlling unit along with powder coating guns after doing detail study of by taking trial of new system and comparing the wastage with the old system.
- Trained powder coaters for uniform powder coating of component so as to improve the powder coating quality and reduce powder consumption.
„Ï Achievement: Coverage of same Jotun Powder has been increased from 8 sq. mts. per kg. to 11 sq mts. Per kg.
