An ISO certified EPC company and a part of the international multinational BatemanLitwin group with interest in executing engineering and turnkey projects in the Middle East and Africa in the field of Oil& Gas, Petrochemical, Infrastructure and power.
I was the part of the startup team of Litwin after they acquired PEL in March 2007. I report to the Director of Finance and Administration and accountable for the entire HR activities of the company. The company HR Policy and Procedure which included the Training and Development, Performance appraisal, Compensation and benefits and all HR Forms was developed and implemented by me as per the guidelines of the Head office in France and keeping in view the geographical presence of Litwin in the Middle East and within the framework of the Laws in the UAE. The entire staffing of the company is my responsibility and I have the credit of increasing the company strength from a mere 15 staff to 70 engineering professionals in a span of 10 months with a target of headcount of 200 by the end of the year. I work out the recruitment strategies and responsible for the recruitment of specialist / professionals in Engineering, Managerial and Administrative jobs to execute the Engineering Procurement and Construction projects which is the key function of the company. Initiate and carry out the necessary training of the staff as per the recommendations of the Project Managers giving paramount importance to the Quality & HSE policy of the company. To achieve high standard of personal relations with employees is another key task. Annual performance appraisal, implementing salary revisions, handling discipline and grievances are also my responsibility. I also take care of the manpower services to various customers which is an additional business of Litwin.
I also appoint and coordinate with recruitment agencies outside the UAE to achieve company targets along with a strong in-house team of 6 HR executives. Conducting external recruitments and business development is also a key responsibility.
