I was a part of the first group that started the black start-up of 3 gas trains (300 mmscf/d) &oil train (30000 barrels oil).
My position is to supervise the running of the plant, liaise with maintenance department regarding any work required; also I handle trainning new operators.

1992-19997(Panel man)
Monitoring and controlling all gas and oil process via main control room, preparing the daily activity reports including gas and oil wells testing, and shutdown reports

1998-July 2001 (DCS Operator)
I transfer to a new gas plant using DCS system (RS-3) Fesher Rosemount ,it was a big gas plant and I was a part of the first group to start it up after traveling abroad to attend training via Fesher Rosemount Company in UK.

July 2001-sep.2003 (senior operator)
Monitoring process continuously to ensure smooth running plant.
Preparing shutdown reports with cause and action taken to resolve problems.
Maintaining permit to work and monitoring onsite tasks inside

• Control process start-up, shut-down and troubleshooting
• Monitor outside process equipment
• Adjust equipment, valves, pumps and controls and process equipment
• Authorize or co-sign maintenance work orders
• Shut down, isolate and prepare process units or production equipment for maintenance
• Sample products, perform tests, record data, carry out statistical process control on process operations, and write production logs
• Develop operator procedures for normal operation, start-up or shut-down of unit
• Participate in safety audits and programs and provide emergency response when required
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations
