My responsibilities:
• Watch keeper and operator
• Boiler water tests and chemical treatments.
• Distilled Water generation from evaporators.
• Burners' maintenance (HFO, DO burners).
• Responsible about the Diesel generators maintenance.
• Responsible about the steam turbo generator maintenance
• Operate and secure the cargo Pumps.
• Operate I.G plant.
• Adding chemicals treatment for the evaporators, main condenser
• Help in Operating the system after shutdown
• Lub. oil tests for Diesel generators and turbines


AHT seaways 10: from 14/05/2007 to 20/08/2007

New AHT built in 2005, owned by seaways int’l in UAE, Indian management, (Charter Total, then BP. - Angola),
Multinational crew.

My responsibilities are Watch keeper and operator in addition to normal 3rd eng duties

FPSO Sendje Ceiba: from 08/08/2006 to 21/02/2007
Was originally an Esso Steam Turbine Tanker built in 74. (Esso Africa), Sendje Berge owned by Bergesen
The tanker was converted into a FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) in 2001 and now, owned by
HESS CORPRATION and crew manning agent WOOD GROUP in USA (Multinational crew).

My responsibility:
• Watch keeper and operator – night shift (7 pm to 7 am).
• Daily, weekly and monthly routines as per the manuals and SAP work orders.
• Boiler water tests and chemical treatments.
• Distilled Water generation from evaporators.
• Fresh water generation from RO system for process use.
• Filling the distilled water & potable water tanks.
• Back flush for RO system on weekly basis.
• Adding chemicals treatment for the evaporators, RO, main condenser, potable water tanks.
• F.O. transfer and tanks filling.
• Operate cargo Pumps and ballast Pump.
• Operate I.G plant.
• Operate cathode protection system.
• Operate the power plant and transfer the load between the power generators
• (Turbines and D.O. generators) and back feed through transformers.
• Monitoring and control the systems through ABB monitoring & automatic control system.
• Operate the HP water pump.
• Checking the safety trips for machineries
• Change oil for the machineries & Following the greasing plan.

• Bachelor degree of marine engineering.

1988 – 1993 Arab academy for science and technology and maritime transport.
