I work in the Oil & Gas Ventures Technical Service Department in Qatar Petroleum. I manage technical records centre services with a team of 8 staff. We provide cost-effective and timely delivery of document, data and scanning services for geoscientists and petroleum engineers for field development and reservoir studies. The team is responsible for the indexing cataloguing all documents and scanning services for the Directorate. We also ensure timely delivery of technical data to bidders for appraisal of hydrocarbon potential during block bidding rounds. I support the development the master database system. I manage a copying & scanning contract with an external contractor and have responsibility for writing client service QMS procedures and KPIs for ISO 9000 accreditation. I am department focal point for training services, budget preparation, annual business plan preparation, record centre relocations, health & safety plans and job descriptions.
