JOP DISCRIPTION

1. Supervises, monitors and co-ordinates all operational, maintenance and safety related activities,

3. Participates in HSE sub-committee meeting and training of newly recruited operators acts as first line fighter at his assigned area and responds to adjacent units as an auxiliary fire fighter completion.
4. Participates in critical operating procedure for start-up and shutdown, commissioning and testing of new equipment and dealing with any emergency situation.
5. Involving in various skilled operating activities of the operation units, system and equipment in the refinery to process feed stock/treat hazardous waste for environment protection out regular inspection of utilities and facilities.
6. Identifies maintenance requirement and where immediate action is required, organizes the necessary personnel to carryout the work.
7. Initiate maintenance request for all routine repairs. Actively participates in the OJT of the young operator.
8. Reviews laboratory test result to ensure that products meet specification and arranges for adjustments to carry out to maintain quality standards.
9. Monitor the chemical dosing system; co-ordinates with chemical section for topping and varies the dosing rates based the lab results by technical service advice.
10. Actively participates in the clearance of process punch list items to ensure safe and smooth start-up of the plant.
11. Monitor the outside accessible operating condition, parameter of the plant and reports any change in operating condition or abnormal sign to CCB and a Shift supervisor.
12. Check the attendance, leave schedule, shift schedule and man power distribution.
13. Control the operation of the plant from control room by supervision of the control room panel operator and directs action of the outside operators to ensure continuous safe and efficient operation of the plant.
14. Supervises and participates during critical activities like plant start-up, shutdown and emergencies as per established operating procedures.
15. Responsibly of all activities of operations which includes checking of plant equipment, adjustment in operating parameters and quality control of products.
