Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer.

Imran is an enthusiastic and motivated graduate looking to start a career in the oil and gas industry. He has BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engg. He is keen to use his skills acquired during his engineering degree to add value to energy companies.

1. Currently working (since August, 2008) as an Electrical Engineer in Techno Engineering Services (Pvt) Ltd Abu Dhabi; United Arab Emirates .Techno engineering services is working with China petroleum engineering & construction company (CPECC) On Abu Dhabi crude oil pipeline project (ADCOP).
Areas of Responsibility:
Preparation of documents for the Quotation of vendor supplied item.(Generator, Electric poles & Lighting system ,LV Panels, Junction boxes, cable trays ,glands etc).
Analyzes proposal submitted by vendors.
Supervise electrical networks at temporary camps
Co-ordinate & supervise fire detection system at temporary camps (fire alarm, smoke detector)
Co-ordinate with the project management & control team to provide man power & equipment detail for lying of optic fiber cable & installation of Cathodic protection system.
Provide assistance to the QA/QC Department for preparation of Check list for electrical & Instrumentation works & Quality assurance documents.

2. Worked as an Application Engineer (July, 2007 to August 2008) in Engro Innovative Automation (Pvt) Ltd Lahore Pakistan

Successfully completed Rockwell HMI up-gradation project for Sui Gas Field of Pakistan Petroleum

3. Worked as Trainee Engineer in ABB (Pvt) Ltd Pakistan. (January, 2007 to July, 2007)
I have attended various training sessions during on job training program such as ABB ACS800 Drives, AC800M DCS Controller and ABB Instruments. My main job responsibilities were maintenance support & after sale services of ABB field instrumentation, motors & various devices.
