In my 14 years in the oil industry, I was a Derek Hand for 6 years as well as a Mud Man. During my time working as a Derek Hand I trained with a qualified Mud Man prior to going to Mud School. I have completed mud school with Alliance Fluids as well as with Baker Hughes in Houston Texas. Previously I was a Solid Control Dewatering and Barite Recovery Technician with Brandt Varco, Peak Energy and Apex. I have completed electrical school, working on electrical panels and all types of equipment and rebuilding centrifuges and shakers, and worked on Top Drives with Tesco. I have been in a supervisory position overseeing many projects such as SAGD in Fort McMurray and Talisman projects in Hinton. As well I have been working in the field as a mud engineer for 3 years. I feel that through my skills and experience there is a great deal in which I can contribute to your company. I personally thrive in a supervisory or management orientated environment. I have a sensitivity to group dynamics which allows me to communicate well with others.
