1. Though specialized in civil engineering, I have gained 12 years experience in handling multi-disciplinary projects in oil & gas industry.

2. Constructed Industrial Plants from Concept to Commissioning. I have constructed three LPG Filling Plants including civil structures, roads, bridges, mechanical piping.

3. Handling project in International Atmosphere involving trans-national contractor and client.

4. Familiarity with the provisions of international codes and standards like BS, EN, API, ASME, ASTM and NFPA apart from Indian Standards and statutory requirements like SMPV rules, G C rules, OISD standards.

5. Project Management of multi-disciplinary projects involving civil, mechanical, electrical and piping works by making use of Project Management skills like Defining, Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring, Controlling and closure and Project Management software MS Project.

6. Specialised in LPG facilities in general and Mounded Storage Pressure vessels in particular. I have constructed two Mounded Storage LPG pressure Vessels works of 2x700 MT and 3x1000 MT.

7. Developed project specifications, estimates, contract documents, bid proposal etc for various industrial structures and equipments and Technical evaluation of the bids.


8. Reviewed design & drawings for compliance with project requirements.

9. Prepared Project Proposal, WBS, CPM/PERT networks, Scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation of multi-disciplinary projects.

10. Coordinated with contractors, consultants, Purchase and finance department for monitoring the progress of works.

11. Prepared Quality Assurance Plan and ensured compliance of QA /QC of the jobs as per project specs.

12. Hands on experience on unique engineering jobs like Intelligent Pigging of cross country pipelines, Cathodic Protection surveys like DCVG, CIPL etc.

I also have a First rank and first class Diploma in Civil Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu passed out during 1986.

HPCL ( HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED ) is India‘s second largest and “Fortune 500” Oil Refining and Marketing Company. HPCL is dealing with Refining and Marketing of Petroleum products in the entire country.

I am currently on deputation to PETROLEUM INDIA INTERNATIONAL on an INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNMENT as consultant to GOVERNMENT OF GHANA for Petroleum Installation project.
