Able to follow written/oral instructions. Weld fabricated cast or forged components according to specifications of welding characteristics of metal. Welds parts in position for fabrication of vessels, tanks or other structural assemblies. Uses carbon electrodes to cut, shape, and groove metal. Prepared workplace for welding by cleaning and/or preheating. Examines weld sizes of weld beads. Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position. 811N3 core wire Flux Core Arc welding process in the three positions.
Safely climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Can drive forklift,certified to wear a respirator.
