Looking for Job related to safety and process operation in oil and gas industry

• 1989-1990: Working with Edward & Sons involving with Shell contract. My role is to become site supervisor looking after the fire fighting and alarm system project in Lutong refeinery and offshore Shell platform.

• 1990-1991: Working with Shell in Lutong Refinery as off plot plant operator and loading gantry operator.

• 1991-1997: Working with SMDS as GTL plant Operation Technician. My roles are commissioning and start-up of the new plant. To operate the steam and gas compressor. As boiler man to become person-in-charge of smooth & safe running of boiler.

• 1997-2000: Working with the reconstruction team to manage all project activities in Shell MDS. Operation Safety focal person, my role is to ensure site safety before actual execution of high risk activities. Focal person on PTW, gas test and hot work activities.

• 2000-2006: As Operation Specialist or Assistant Shift Supervisor to handle day to day smooth operation of the plant. As senior my role is to transfer technology new technician OJT. Become panel man to start the complex and to do trouble shooting during upset. To become PTW coordinator and to issue permit on site with priority on safety precaution. To manage the operation shift manpower for preparedness in the event of emergency such as ready with DFA, FITs and isolation team.

• 2006-current: As HSSE Advisor, the main tasks are to do auditing, updating safety & Emergency Response procedures, incident investigation, make recommendation to management safety aspect, HSE Training, risk assessment, job hazard analysis, safe work procedure, permit to work (PTW), HSE improvement project, safety day & HSE week, waste management and many more HSE activities.

As Safety officer of the company, I handle HSE Committee, safety performance report, to conduct incident investigation and submit report to authority, liaison to DOSH and safety focal person on site.

As Emergency Response Coordinator, my role is to ensure site preparedness in the event of emergency. To lead the fire fighting team, the rescue team on site. To become Bintulu Emergency Mutual Aid (BEMA) team member, focal person on oil spill and coordination with Bintulu port. To become liaison to BOMBA.

• I have been working in oil and gas industry for more than 20 years. Started with technical and operation, and now in Safety and Health department. • In addition, I have experience in the start up and shutdown of complex, commissioning and involve with expansion project wax plant, SGP Pre-furn & Jetty Project activities. I personally involved in process & operation to lead the team Operators, handling operating equipments such as machines, pumps, compressors, steam turbines, furnace, reformer, columns, vessels, heat exchangers, fan coolers, blowers, boilers, piping, loading, storage tanks, control valve and other valves. Being a panel man who controls the process according to operating parameter and putting Process safety as top priority at work to ensure safe operation.
