I worked in ONGC TROMBAY TERMINAL as a Laboratory Analyst on contract basis for Bombay High Crude Oil analysis at Butcher Island Oil Terminal, BPCL, HPCL Refineries from 1987 to 1992.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Sample Preparation of Raw material for ICP (INDUCTIVELY COUPLE PLASMA EMISSION SPECTROMETER, MODEL- PLASMA -400) from PERKIN ELMER and analysis.

2. Sample Preparation of Raw material for XRF (MINIPAL -2) and analysis.

3. Determination of Iron content in Sand and other material by XRF.
4. Determination of Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash) and Sodium Sulphate (Salt Cake) by volumetric method.

5. Determination of Moisture content in Batch and all Raw material.

6. Determination of Batch for Water Solubility and Acid Solubility.

7. Sieve Analysis of all Raw material Samples.

8. Glass Transmission by Spectrometer.

9. Determination of Glass Density by Density Comparator.

10.Defect Analysis of Glass by Microscope.

11. Regular Glass sampling and analysis.


12. Sample Preparation of Sand Sample for (OXFORD XRF-3500) and analysis.


13. Record Maintaining of all individual Raw material as experiments on daily basis.


Now I am working in EMIRATES FLOAT GLASS with PPG Technology at Abu Dhabi in UAE as a Sr Laboratory Technician since 26th March 2008.
