• Exploration general manager and Board member in Oasis petroleum company then Wadi El Sahl petroleum ( Waspetco ).
•Then promoted to be the Vice Chairman for Exploration
The job duties during 1998 to now were as follows :
1 – working for both exploration and reservoir duties .
2 – My duties are sharing and supervising the geoscientists starting from deciding a new well location to be drilled and ended by putting well on production such as :

-Sharing in the Geoseismic studies to prepare for new prospects evaluation and field exploitation.
- well- sitting supervision ,open hole and cased hole logging witnessing and interpretations ,perforation decision and witnessing.
- production optimization of old wells through acidization ,re-perforation with new technique such as hydro fracturing ,….etc ) .
• Joint exploration studies team leader ( PTROBEL ):
the main duties is to link the reservoir and production data to geophysical and geological studies to exploit the by- passed oil and to extend the concepts on a regional scale for other areas aiming for exploring the hydrocarbon potentialities .
• Worked as a Prospect generation division manager, then promoted to Prospect generation general manager for Gulf of Suez, Nil Delta and Mediterranean areas.
the main duties during this period is to evaluate the leads shown regionally among either Mediterranean ,Nile delta or in Gulf of Suez, starting to define the hot prospects and categorize them for drilling.
