Being directly responsible to management, on all aspects of safety, and environmental issues through the companies’ areas of operations.
Providing, management and work force, international, and local advice, guidance and assistance, as required. Including implicating, and reviewing, their procedures, safe working policies. Monitoring the work place and encouraging a pro active attitude, to all personnel. Responsible for carrying out, Risk assessments, Accident, Incident Investigation, reporting, also implicating company safety prevention programs. Overseeing and reviewing, auditing, and implication of the permit to work system. Carry out site inspections prior to and proceeding all work being undertaken involving, Naked flame, hot works, hot tapping, vessel entries, heavy lifts etc. Also prior to contractors equipment, coming on company sites.
Inspections, offshore and onshore drilling, and work over Rigs.
Set up of fire, muster, and evacuation plans. Ensuring correct location of fire, emergency, rescue equipment, along with recognised manufactures training, for servicing, inspection, and maintenance, including deluge, sprinklers, foam related systems. Coordinate and conducting instructions on correct use of emergency rescue, and response equipment, basic fire fighting, search rescue training, and all related safety equipment. In-house training to any personnel that may use any of the above, especially during construction works, and shut down operations, when up manning with new personnel or contractors may be involved. Supervise and control of drills for emergency response/fire team training exercises, on a regular basis.
Induction to all new personnel, on all aspects of company safety requirements. Familiarisations of all areas, muster stations, alarms, locations of escape routes emergency equipment, lifeboats, etc.

Offshore: Production Oil and Gas Platforms and Drilling.
All relevant safety works during Hook-ups/commissioning phases, tie in sub sea, shut-down, start up, operations, normal production exporting stages.
Being directly responsible to OIM, Company Man, carrying out all relevant safety duties associated with offshore environments. Drilling experience: Platforms, Semi’s, Land based rigs. Drilling and work over, facilities with all related aspects, covered during drilling programmes.

BREATHING APPARATUSES SERVICING, TRAINER. GAS DETECTOR, SERVICING TRAINER, INCLUDING H2S and VESSEL ENTRY. LSA, MANUAL HANDLING, COSHH. PERMIT TO WORK ALL LEVELS SCAFFOLDING INSPECTION. RIGGING, & LIFTING. and BANKSMAN.

Office based first to assist HSE manager to, review / write/amend, rig specific HSE plans, policies and procedures, review of bridging docs contractor procedures, Safety Plans, ERP, Medevac, PTW ordering of rig equipment, including PPE, Aircraft, JMP, also Inspection of contractors equipment, including but not limited too, vehicles, rig personnel, pre mobilisation checks 3rd parties equipment.
Desert Based Rig HSE for 6 Gas wells, all aspects of HSE for Client, to monitor and supervise Saipem drilling contractor, to ensure all company and country legislation, procedures are implicated. Set up/rig move of camp, environmental, monitor and control HSE civil works
