CMMS Administrator (Maximo)/ Maintenance Planner

I introduce myself as Mr. Sham’un Williams. I am a disciplined young man, and recent entry to the energy industry, with 10 years of E&I field engineering and 2 years CMMS administration/Maintenance planning to offer your company.

I am currently working substantively as the computerized maintenance management system administrator for BG T&T’s Beachfield asset, with ancillary duties as the facility’s maintenance planner. I am convinced my knowledge & experience will be invaluable as I have not only built BGTT Beachfield’s CMMS database, but also had continuous working experience with it, and continue to tweak and shape its ongoing implementation.

I was the focal point for the development and population of equipment database.Development, generation and creation of PM’s and CM’s.Supporting day-to-day breakdowns in the field through WO generation.Planning of plant maintenance activity.Proactively supporting and developing plant IT & administrative infrastructure.Supported acquisition of critical equipment spares and implementation of stores department.Training of plant personnel in the use of CMMS software (Maximo).Working with plant & BGT&T management to ensure maintenance is toward industry best practices.

Prior experiences include the restructuring and upgrade of the maintenance department, while implementing a Preventive Maintenance system and performing phased plant and equipment upgrades at VEMCo Ltd; installing a Furnace and four production lines and daily maintenance duties at Carib Glassworks Ltd. As, the senior E&I technician at Carib Glassworks I was responsiable for general maintenance (P.M.’s), Troubleshooting & repair of plant production equipment, Periodic upgrading of inspection equipment and or supporting plant infrastructure, Calibrations & calibration checks, Diagnosis of system failures & breakdowns, Assuring (assisting where necessary) subordinates work within departmental objectives & guidelines, Providing support to engineers on major breakdowns in the field, Guiding/assisting E&I Tech 2’s, Tradesmen & Trainees in troubleshooting day-to-day breakdowns in the field, Periodically leading small teams on projects (low – medium complexity), Performing calibrations & calibration checks on equipment/systems under the purview of the E&I department.
