a)Operate 7 mln tons per annum LNG plant in a reliable, efficient and safe way by identifying abnormalities, diagnose and take corrective actions to remedy the problems..
b)Carry out daily routine checks / inspections and log in the log sheet. Ensures all equipment are running in normal operating order, maintain good housekeeping structure at all times and exercise ownership of unit.
c)Attend and assume control of maintenance job carried out in my respective unit and stop any unsafe act or unsafe situation or malpractices or the use of sub-standard equipment. Advised the Production Supervisor(s)
d)Operate and adjust the field operating parameters for optimum plant efficiency, which will eventually reduce cost, most importantly making sure all units are operated within the design operating profile.
e)Handles any emergency in the plant with minimum supervision at the first instance.
f)Communicate effectively and efficiently with panel co-coordinator to ensure smooth plant operation is attained.
g)Trained, coached and developed subordinates and trainees as an alert, efficient and competent shift team.
h)Involved in the start-up of new two LNG storage tanks & de-commissioned the old ones.
i)Trained, coached and developed local subordinates and trainees as an alert, efficient and competent shift team.
Additional roles: Operations Technical Assitant
§ As a Team member developed the combined HSSE and NHSE Reporting System for BLNG together with Safety Department (custodian) and Technology Support representative with the Software Vendor (Norway)
§ Trained BLNG staff on how to use the Omnisafe Non-HSE Reporting System and administer the Non-HSE reporting System.
§ Prepared and issued Annual Routine activities schedule for Operations.
§ Update and administer Operations Quality documents against ISO 9000 requirements
§ Operations SAP Focal Point, create Work Orders, PR and P.O. for material orders
§ Create SAP Notification for equipment(s) maintenance checks/repairs.

Ø System Administrator of Omnisafe HSSE//Non-HSE Reporting System from Feb.1999. until present.

Ø Act as Loading Master in his absence/leave to send completed LNG Ships cargo documents for 72 hours cargo notification to terminal and Ship Delivery Schedule(SDS) by fax which was later confirmed by the LNG Buyers Liaison Officer based in Japan.
Ø ISO 14001 Task Force Member when BLNG was awarded in 05 July, 2000.
