Career Objective
I have worked as an Exploration Geologist in a basin affected by poor seismic imaging due to the presence of basalts and carbonates. I would like to shift to a job in a development geology profile, to build myself more wholly in the Oil&Gas industry.
Professional Experience
I have been working with 2D/3D seismic projects, preparing all necessary maps, i.e. Isochron, Isopach, etc., evaluating prospects, planning surveys and wells and structural, tectonic and stratigraphic interpretation.
Integrating gravity, magnetic, well and geologic data both at a regional and detailed scale to develop comprehensive geologic models and play concepts.
Immediate updation of seismic information from well data and validation well logs.
Involved in identifying new technologies and techniques to further exploration goals and running feasibility studies with the service providers.
Administrative jobs like raising PR and following up with other departments in regards to invoices of the service providers and consultants.
I have also handled the Technical Evaluation of new exploration acreages (both local and international) to understand their hydrocarbon prospectivity for bidding.
Have served as a Client Representative for various kinds of surveys like Controlled Source Electromagnetics (CSEM) Survey, Geochemical Survey (Piston Coring and Heat Flow Measurement) and Shallow Hazard Site Survey to ensure that data is acquired to meet the company's requirements while maintaining the highest standards of QHSE.
Apart from my normal responsibilities, I am incharge of working with Plate Tectonic Reconstruction experts to show the presence of older rifts, multiple tectonic episodes and hence improve the source rock potential of the region.
