· Verify that correct materials are utilized for all works.
· Be familiar with and refer to the applicable , Specification and standards.
· Ensure that copies of applicable QC plan (and QC procedures where necessary) are available at the location of work.
· Ensure that all the welding works carried out in the service contract are as per the approved procedure and plans.
· Witness welder qualification test in association with the company representative and welding engineer.
· Ensure that the welders are qualified to the WPS.
· Check and record welding parameters and verify compliance with approved WPS.
· Set up a numbering system for the welds, compile and maintain isometrics containing weld number and welders identification.
· Monitor welder performance, receive and review NDT reports.
· Prepare monthly reports of QC activities.
· Liaise with the work coordinator in case of non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are taken.
· Verify calibration status of inspection, measuring and testing equipments used.
· Review of approved welding procedure, Qualification records and Welding operators.
· Liaise with the company representative for the conduct of day to day quality related activities of the service contract.
· Ensure fulfillment of all inspection and test requirements at all the stages as per the CQP and contract requirements.
· Compile and review pertinent records of inspection and test for individual job orders.
· Preparing of TESTPACK.
· Ensure implementation of HSE policy and HSE plan with in the area of their jurisdiction.
· Participate in HSE activities and when required by the contract manager, site manager or HSE advisor.

· D.M.E(Mechanical Engineering) with 72.1% (First Class) from M.I.T UNDER WEST BENGAL STATE COUNCIL OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION West Bengal in June 2002.
· Higher Secondary with 52.1% from Govt. Hr. Sec. School, BURDWAN WEST BENGAL.
· Secondary with 65.75% form Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Burdwan West Bengal.
