A result oriented professional with about 18 years’ of experience across in Safety engineering of Natural Gas based plant consisting of Isopropyl alcohol (IPA 300TPD), Methanol (300TPD), Ammonia, Ammonium nitro phosphate, Ammonium nitrate, Nitric acid, Di-Methyl Terephthalate (DMT 450 TPD), polyester film.

Bachelor of Engineering in Fire Engineering from (National Fire Service College, Nagpur) Nagpur University, Diploma in Industrial Safety, Maharashtra Technical Board, Diploma in Industrial Pollution Control from Annamalai University. & Lead Assessor of OHSAS 18000 & Safety Cert. From B.V.Q.I.

Summary:
I am a B.E. (Fire Engg.), and posses 18 Years of experience and currently working as Senior Manager – Fire & Safety with Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemical Corp. Ltd. Taloja, Raigad. M. S. INDIA.

Current Designation: Senior Manager – Fire & Safety
Job Profile:
i) Accident investigation, prevention, reporting and analysis are the key functions.
ii) Organize training program related to basics of accident prevention, MSDS, on site emergency plan, permit to work, use of PPE etc. for company and contract personnel.
iii) Job safety analysis, permit to work, testing of fire system are the routine work.
iv) Conducted safety inspections, walk throw survey, safety audits and risk analysis of the plant.
v) Internal auditor and trainer for the integrated system i.e. QMS, EMS & OHSAS.
vi) Conduct Mock Fire Drills, table top drills and Evacuation drills.
vii) HAZOP of new projects / plant modification / revamp in the existing facilities are the key function.
viii) Co-ordination and liaison with fire services, statutory authorities i.e. DISH, CCOE etc.
ix) Maintain and testing the first aid fire fighting appliances, hydrant, protecto spray, fixed foam systems and fire detection system as per TAC, ISI and NFPA regulations.
x) Maintain the Fire / Rescue Jeep and Mobile Foam / DCP Monitor / Trailers, wireless system, fire pumps etc.
xi) Attend External Emergency Calls from Mutual-Aid Industries and Chemical Tanker Accidents on road involving Chemical leakage, spillage, fire explosion and toxic vapor release.
