Electrical Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:


a. Reviewing work requests to analyze nature of problem, reason and suggesting the necessary action.
b. Helping in preparation & updating of preventive maintenance procedures, Electrical Switching procedures for all electrical equipments and help if required in trouble-shooting.
c. Reviewing and suggesting proposal for plant modification. Studying the design, drawing, list of materials, specifications, etc and to provide appropriate advice wherever required.
d. Helping in reviewing the warehouse inventory level for all Electrical items and recommending the optimum level.
e. Reviewing the conditions of equipments by analyzing the repetitive problems, inefficiency of special test reports, and provided feedback on repair/ modification/ replacements to be carried out for improving the performance and reliability.
f. Suggesting innovative methods to improve productivity, reduce maintenance cost and ensure 100% safe and easy operation of the equipment.
g. Helping in planning plant turnaround activities like preparation of schedules, scope of work, manpower planning, material sourcing from outside agencies and execution of the job.
h. Contributing in preparing training plans & assists in conducting training seminar.
i. Supporting in using appropriate techniques to develop and set performance measurement method and feedback system.
j. Ensuring safety at work site by adopting company safety procedures, and good house-keeping.
k. Guiding in controlling, Maintaining and updating all relevant Manuals, Drawings, Specifications, Catalogue, Standards etc. and documenting work history, PSM records, ISO records.
l. Carrying out any special jobs, short term assignments, additional charges etc. as desired by management.
m. Responsible for up keeping of equipments by necessary capital budget proposals.
n. Developed maintenance & testing procedures.
o. Assisted Electrical Supervisor in day-to-day activities and coordinating with planning section.
p. Responsible for the Mechanical Integrity and Reliability of all Electrical equipments and systems.
q. Writing reports (RCA) for any abnormal or failure of equipment and suggest remedies.
r. Initiate Management of Change for any modifications to improve the performance of Equipment and system when required.
