- The General Petroleum Company (G.P.C.) was formed in 1934 by The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) as national company for hydrocarbon exploration & production. The company has 3 producing concessions (Gulf of Suez & Eastern desert -Ras Gharib, Western desert -Abu Sanan, and Sinai -Ras Sudr). It produces about 50000 BOPD plus 30 MMSCF/D Except for The share production with foreign investment companies & committees (Scimitar-Canada, Oil Search-Australia, Epedeco - Japan, Osoco-Egypt, Amapetco-Apache, and South Ramadan-Total) .

- Vendor List of the particular Drilling materials, Equipment and spare parts for Oil & Gas .
- All banking transactions concern the conditions and Discrepancies of the letter of credits, L/G, and cheques.
- The financial evaluation for the supplierˇ¦s proposals and awarding tenders.
- Contracting with the navigation companies, arranging
Shipment with them, and reviewing the shipping documents as a part of supply chain for managing the purchasing process, coordinating shipment with exporter and involves inventory.
- Ensures that all orders are issued and processed in sufficient time to ensure operational requirements are met
- Report on receipt of damaged or incorrect items and takes necessary corrective actions.
- Review and monitor supplier performance on a regular basis conducts meetings with vendors and keeps abreast with the market place.
- Contracting with international petroleum services companies.
