Meteorological and Oceanography

• Working in Kazakhstan (since June-2007 till date) as a subcontractor for AGIP KCO for Installation and Maintenance of weather stations and oceanographic equipments used in field on 45 days rotation basis.
• Upgradation of existing weather stations and looking for continual improvement of data quality which can help AGIP in their drilling operations in Caspian region.
• Planning, installation and commissioning of new weather stations.
• Ensuring real time data transfer using GSM, Ethernet, Satellite phones and BGAN.
• Ensuring all the weather stations are up and running without any downtime.
• Calibration of the entire weather stations on periodic basis.
• Analysing meteorological data before handing over the data to the data processor.
• Maintenance of Oceanographic equipment and downloading and analysing data after recovery from field.
• Presently involved in upgrading of CR-10X loggers to CR-1000.
• Training local staff.


Offshore Survey

• To successfully carry out Pre Engineering Survey and Bathymetry survey
• Maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of all Survey equipments at workshop
• Mobilization and demobilization of all the survey equipments

 Planning, scheduling & management of Automation, Navigational, Communication and Safety projects; ensuring completion of assignments within time and budgetary parameters.

 Installation, commissioning and trouble shooting of Automation systems like Alarm Monitoring, PLC based Water Ingress Detection and Dewatering System, Bilge Alarm, Valves and different types of Sensors
 Installation and Commissioning of Pneumatic Tank Gauging System with Server and Client interface.
 Carrying out operations like Data Acquisition, monitoring Control Panels, Actuators, Pressure and Level Switches, Remote Terminal Units, Voyage Data Recorder.
 Handing Security Equipments like Fire Alarm, Bilge Alarm, Valves, Sensors, Anemometer, Security Alert System, CCTV. Gas Detection System, Safety Barriers.
 Installation and commissioning of Navigational Systems like Radar, Automatic Identification System, Global Positioning System, Gyrocompass, Echo sounder and Autopilot.
 Installation, configuration and trouble shooting of Inmarsat Phones, Telex, Radio Communication, Microwave communication.
