A. FEB-07 to TILL DATE TRAGS ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING WLL. - Qatar
Sr. Planning Engineer

Project Handled:

•EPIC of Offshore Platform work for BH & MM Oil fields (Off-shore) – Completed.
This project was to upgrade, modification & installation of new 3 platforms (EPC) in BH & MM field in Qatar. The EPC contractor was Sime Durby. My role is co-ordinate with our offshore field staff, take daily report, transfer the material required. It also includes planning, coordinating I was Project coordinator & overall planner for the project.
•EPIC of Ras Gas CCO&C works - This is a maintenance contract in Ras Gas running plant. Most our works are preventive maintenance related, modification/ upgradation to the existing units or shut down maintenance type for RG’s train 1, 2, 3 & 4. (on going)
•Instrument Up gradation at PS-2 & PS-3 – Yokogava project. (Off-shore) (on going)
•Shut down for PS-2 & PS-3 (Nov-8 & Feb-09)(on going)

Responsibilities:
•Defining baseline program & the resource requirement for the project such as manpower & materials.
•Monitoring & updating the projects through P3 /P3e.
•Preparing, establishing project schedules. Follow-up progress reporting
•Monitoring & chasing manpower & major material requirement.
•Preparing internal budget for the project & monitoring the cost through SAP for the activities.
•Prepare monthly cost report, cost forecast & annual budgets.
•Preparing & finalized variation claim for change orders and time extension claims.
•Certify subcontractor’s billing and monitor their progress. Assist them in preparing & achieving the schedules.
•Preparing weekly & monthly reports and other techno-commercial documents for the management & client.
•Leading the Planning & QS team. (2 onshore + 1 offshore)
•Maintaining the status of project deliverables such as drawings & material deliveries logs.
•Evaluate the performance contractors & various trade peoples.

•Preparing earned value report, weekly & monthly reports and other techno-commercial documents for the management & client.
•Managing a team of 4 specialist engineers from QS & planning.
•Delivering multi-disciplinary engineering works from concept through to preliminary design.
