Responsible for Data Quality Control for all OutSource Seismic 2D, 3D and 4D acquisition programs. OutSource Seismic manages and acquires dynamite and vibroseis data for many major and junior oil and gas companies in Western Canada.. Responsible for preparation of financial contracts, AFE’s and operational bids for 2D and 3D seismic programs. Organize logistics and supervised seismic crews working in all areas of Western Canada, including the extreme and remote Rocky Mountains. Robert Has a strong working relationship with Dr. Don Lotton and Dr. Rob Stewart of the Geophysical Science Department at the University of Calgary’s 4D research programs

Responsible for the training of observers and field personnel on the I/O System II seismic recording system; 2D and 3D data collection methods; instillation and QC of all field equipment. Conducted training on field QC methods and procedures.

Responsible for the day to day field operations and data quality for large 3D data acquisition programs throughout western Canada, some of which had more than 6000 active data channels. Involved in more than 1000 3D data acquisition projects.

Mr. Macneill has 30 years of extensive geophysical field operations experience in instrumentation, acquisition, safety procedures and quality control. As a geophysical contractor he has provided services to almost every oil and gas company in the Canadian market. For the past 3 years he has been responsible for data quality control for all OutSource Seismic Consultants 2D, 3D and 4D acquisition programs and the field supervision of the data acquisition contractors. Robert has either operated or attended training seminars on every seismic recording system currently in use. He has extensive experience with the Input/Output recording systems and is recognized as a leading expert on I/O equipment and field systems. In addition to his work in Canada, Robert has experience in the USA, Portugal, Poland and Qatar. Robert has good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively supervise and work with personnel of different nationalities and backgrounds.
