Along my final assignment at BOB PT. BSP - PERTAMINA HULU beside the knowledge of Production Technique (Calculate IPR, Head of pump, BHP, Stages etc), I re-design ESP to optimize the production and increase the oil flow rate (Qo) and also calculate the economical by using ESP as artificial lift include the prices of every each unit in ESP (Stages, motor, protector, junction box, electric cable etc) and making the sensitivity of oil price. So that my design will still economic until the lowest oil price. My ESP design based on condition of the reservoir (Static Fluid Level, Working Fluid Level, Bubble Point Pressure, Reservoir Pressure, Pump Setting Depth etc). I make a program to calculate the IPR by using Excel. After my design complete, I presenting to the Manager as an advice to Production Department. While presenting my design, the Manager asked me about my design and the reason why I choose the type of pump (Example IND450, IND 1300). Of course to have those design and calculation I have to make a well construction and design the well completion.
As we know that every step in Petroleum Industry is related one to each other so I have to analyze core sampling, analyze well testing data, and make simulation of each well. On several of my design is using comingle completion (with dual string). At the end it is show that I have an ability to make interpretation the reservoir data.
My final assignment in production shows that I have capability in Production Technique.
At the present I work as a Reservoir Engineer in PT. GANESHA PETRO - ITB, to develop IBUL field located on SSE (South Sumatra Extension), my primary duties is calculate the reserves, remaining reserves, ultimate recovery, and recovery factor. After that I do interpretation of logging map (Deflection of SP, GR, Deep Induction, Caliper etc), estimate the OWC (Oil Water Contact) and other aspect to predicting other production zone to read from Logging Map if there is another possibility to produce other zone at the same time (by using comingle with dual tubing) so that the oil production will be maximize, and then I join Production Department to design the suitable lifting method based on condition of the well. I also work with production department to prevent and solve the well problem (IBUL significant well problem is scale).
