Process Engineer with an experience in Relief system engineering and risk analysis

1)Thorough checking of P&ID’s of the respective refineries, identifying and analyzing the various overpressure scenarios, which may arise in different equipments during the operation and preliminary sizing of the safety relief devices using PPM (a proprietary software from Siemens Inc., USA).
2)Familiar to Hysys Process simulation tool for generating simulation model to match with the existing feed rate of the plants, which forms a basis for relief system study and generate documentation as per existing plant documentation systems.
3)Familiar with API 520, API 521, API 2000 codes.
4)Based upon the safety relief analysis done for a plant based on a certain basis/assumptions, which can be inadequate once a plant operating philosophy changes. Therefore suggesting the required modifications in the existing safety relief system to mitigate the various concerns that may arise for different overpressure scenarios with unnecessary modifications to the plant, saving cost and downtime for the plant.

Passed Bachelor of Engineering in the department of Chemical Engineering from Datta Meghe College of Engineering (Mumbai University) in the year 2005-06.
