Professional Experience
I am permanently working in electronics and electrical engineering during 29 years. I have got a good theoretical education and huge practical experience. I’m able to make project design, keep maintenance and repair a lot of electrical and electronic equipment (from simple Star-Delta starter for power electrical motors to computer based systems). I’ve made a lot of control and measuring systems by my own hands. I have got PhD degree and 15 certificates of inventions. I am well acquainted with up-to-date electronics, computer technologies and software. I’ve been working with marine electrical equipment: from ME and Gensets to GMDSS and Navigation Aid electronics.
I’ve got a big experience in Offshore Industry. I’d begun my work in offshore onboard of Diamond Mining Vessels in South Africa where I’d made maintenance of special underwater equipment. I’ve got a good experience in hydraulics and pneumatic also. I used to work with different electronic systems such as SCADA-system on base of PLC-5/40 (Allen-Bradley) including CAN, DeviceNet, Profibus, fiberoptic communications etc. I’ve made the repair of different types of modern electronic 200 - 500kW soft-starters (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider), CCTV-cameras, X-ray machines, plenty of measuring devises, sensors and transducers of different physical values (temperature, pressure, depth, humidity, displacement) and etc.
Later I was invited to “TIDEWATER International Ltd” on the position of Chief Electronic Technician of shore-base in Malongo and Luanda (Angola). During almost three years I’ve had to fix any electrical problems onboard of offshore support vessels. I fulfilled a lot of electrical tasks - from replacement and adjustment of AVR in Gensets or installation of new Gyrocompas with repeaters to just regular power distribution work. I’ve got a lot of excellent appraisals and recommendation from captains and chief engineers.
Now I am working as Chief Electrician in “BUE TOPAZ” (Caspian Division).I have a nice job now but I am able to decide more sophisticated tasks. My education and my experience allow me think so. I’d like to find more interesting job with up-to-date equipment.
