ƒ¤ Working as Asst. Chief Accountant in Ali International Trading Est. at Doha ¡VQatar from 09-03-2005 to Present.
Handle following major duties and responsibilities.
- Manage all accounting task such as journal entry, ledger, trail balance, profit and loss and balance sheet and cash flow statement.
- Handles independently the assigned division's accounts.
- Analyze records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and competences of entries, using computer.
- Prepares financial statements.
- Ensures that propriety of cash receipts account are promptly distributed/ classified.
- Ensures also that daily cash receipts are promptly deposited in due course.
- Processes payments/checks after verifying the validity, completeness, and correctness of supporting documents including compliance with contract/POs terms and conditions.
- Ensures that the appropriate accounts are charged according to the Chart of Accounts.
- Ensures that company account controls are fully complied with prior to sending checks to the group financial controller for approval.
- Maintain all accounting records in proper order and ensure that they are constantly updated.
- Prepare draft division's month-end and year-end financial statements.
- Prepare salary sheet.
- Payables and receivables management.
- Check the material purchased order, store records and suppliers invoices.
- Update customers account and check theirs cash follows.
- Provide monthly statement to the customers and follow up for the payments.
- Appraise the L.P.O and invoices division and branch wise.
- Separately manage supplier statements for the whole division.
- Check the discrepancy of daily cash and credit sales division and branch wise.
- Assessment daily stocks reports whole division.
ƒ¤ Worked as Accountant cum Manager in Al-Waleed International W.L.L at Doha-Qatar from 04/03/04 to 05/03/2005.
