Maintenance Operations management is what I have enjoyed the most in my career with 31 years experience in operations including industrial fabrication, maintenance development, contract services and departmental budget responsibilities.

Shipyard Facilities Maintenance Officer / Project Manager
•Establish strategic goals for Facilities Maintenance Department of industrial shipyard
•Manage annual budget for maintenance department, averaging $5.5M
•Directed Facilities Maintenance Department of industrial shipyard, consisting of 8 foreman, 98 technicians in installation and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, heating, boilers, electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic and electrical controls, MHE, elevators, conveyors, diesel, fuel/water distribution, laundry, galley and small machinery repair systems
•Developed CMMS preventive, predictive maintenance program for facility
•Developed equipment reliability program, enhancing routine maintenance program
•Facilitated 2 daily production meetings to support shipyard tasks
•Successfully performed arbitration negotiations with Union representatives. Performed annual reviews, counseling of Union personnel
•Project Manager representative to Congressional Base Realignment and Closure Committee (BRAC) in the closure of Naval Shipyard Charleston, SC, identifying and distributing shipyard materials, equipage, machinery for reutilization at other facilities throughout the US
